Does ASIC provide a certificate of business name registration? If so, am I required to display it?

ASIC does not have to, by law, generate nor provide a certificate of business name registration. Usually, you will be issued with a registration certificate and welcome letter once your business name has been registered. There is no impetus to display any confirmation of registration of your business name at your business location.
