After registering a company, certain details can be corrected if they contain typographical errors or if specific information like the place or date of birth is incorrect, or letters that are transposed or omitted in a word. If this is the case, the following form must be lodged strictly within 24 hours of company registration. To lodge a Form 492 you must:
- Download a Form 492 ‘Request for correction’ ask our team to send if required
- Print this form off
- Fill out the form as required
- Scan the filled out form
- Email the filled out form to support@easycompanies.com.au within the next 24 hours (sooner is better rather than later)
- In the email the company director needs to write a paragraph stating what needs to be corrected in the company application. State the company’s ACN as well as the company’s name and a contact number.
